vExpert - First Time Award Winner

The VMware vExpert designation is an award is given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the community of VMware users over the past year.

Think of the VMware vExpert program as VMware’s global evangelism and advocacy program. The program is designed to put VMware’s marketing resources towards all advocacy efforts throughout the world. Individuals are awarded, not the companies they are employed by. Also, the award lasts for one year.

The big news is I received a vExpert designation this year. I'm humbled and excited after spending almost a full calendar year talking about Azure VMware Solution and how that platform can help enterprises out with full blown cloud adoption. The different vExperts are book authors, bloggers, VMUG leaders, tool builders, and other IT professionals who share knowledge/passion with others. Like myself, these vExperts go above and beyond their day jobs to share technical expertise and communicate the value of VMware + the virtualization platform to their colleagues and community.

Time to crank out some more content! There's bucketloads on the way! And what better time? When we're still in the middle of the pandemic and can't travel to see people on a face-to-face basis. Stay tuned...
